Kalsoy

Nature
Kalsoy is a long and narrow island that stretches north-south, in a regular height. The west side is very steep, and the east green and flatter. The island has 11 valleys and the landscape changes significantly farther south you go. On Kalsoy there are many birds in the mountains. To the north, there are many which nest in the cliffs. To the south are many rare plants, especially at Galvin.

Projects

On Kalsoy the inhabitants work to develop more tourism products, there are projects underway, for example production of local food as souvenirs. In North at Trøllanes there is an Economusée Blacksmith and at Húsar, a café. But there are several projects under way.
